Further enhancing the clinical profile and future standing of the three new SNF hospitals

Johns Hopkins Medicine International (JHMI) has more than 25 years of experience providing health care consulting services to organizations around the world, including governments, private institutions, academic medical centers, and other health care organizations. Through its collaborations, JHMI has assisted its partners to implement new and high-quality standards and models of patient care, research, and education.

Building on a long-standing partnership between SNF and Johns Hopkins and in the spirit of the HI’s international collaborations and knowledge exchanges, SNF and JHMI will establish a wide-ranging partnership to further enhance the clinical profile and future standing of the three new SNF hospitals being developed in Komotini, Thessaloniki and Sparta. The framework for collaboration encompasses several focus areas, including: 1) patient safety and clinical quality, with the goal of achieving Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation, 2) nurse training, 3) resident and medical student exchanges, and 4) clinical program development.

The collaboration will be adapted to the unique challenges and opportunities in Greece and align with hospital goals to provide patient centered, innovative, value-based healthcare with the ultimate goal to lead to improved outcomes for patients. Through well-structured and tailored delivery of services, JHMI will support the new hospitals in establishing and maintaining standards of excellence and achieving high quality results with a view to be positioned as centers of clinical and operational excellence.
